The Countertop Shield is designed and built to help prevent the spread of disease in any place of commerce that requires direct interaction between employees and customers in close proximity. This product is available in two styles; one with a lower opening for the transfer of small items, and the other featuring a framed opening for larger item Point of Sale transactions.Created to provide comfort and relief for employees and the customers they serve, the Countertop Shield comes in two sizes: 2’-5” tall x 2’- 8.5” wide, and 2’-8” tall x 1’-11” wide. The Countertop Shield is a clear acrylic partition that forms a barrier that may help prevent the direct physical and airborne spread of germs. The clear acrylic allows for items to be scanned at checkout through the screen, preventing the physical contact needed to transfer products. The credit card terminal can be placed on the customer’s side of the partition while keeping the register on the employee’s side, providing additional safety. An opening at the bottom of the partition allows for the transfer of small items, papers, or payment for transactions. The open lower window measures 6" tall. Easy to clean with any common disinfectant, this partition is also lightweight, and portable, making it versatile and easy to store.
